Short Description:The Minority Teacher Scholarship addresses the critical shortage of Black and Hispanic teachers in Indiana by providing scholarships to these teachers as well as to minority Special Education teachers and occupational and physical therapists.
Annotation:The Minority Teacher Scholarship was created by the 1988 Indiana General Assembly to address the critical shortage of Black and Hispanic teachers in Indiana. In 1990 and 1991 the fields of Special Education and Occupational and Physical Therapy were added. Eligibility requirements and conditions and information about scholarship value are included.
