Annotation:This report addresses several key convictions of the National Commission on the Cost of Higher Education about the current crisis in college costs and prices. The Commission made a series of recommendations to achieve five basic policy goals outlined in the report and presents a clear picture of what is happening with respect to the cost of a college education and what steps can or should be taken to ensure a quality postsecondary education remains affordable.
