Annotation:The Dream Deferred research project examined the impact of multi-dimensional, cross-sector interventions designed to increase the chances of college enrollment, persistence, and graduation for low-income students. Findings from the study suggest that comprehensive and coordinated intervention programs may be more effective than traditional approaches to improving college awareness, math, and reading skills in low-income students.
