Short Description:This report compares changes in academic readiness and college intent between students from GEAR UP schools and students from non-GEAR UP schools
Annotation:This report compares changes in academic readiness and college intent for a sample of students from GEAR UP schools to a comparable sample of students from non-GEAR UP schools. The results from the study offer modest support for the students that experienced GEAR UP were more prepared for college than the students that never experienced GEAR UP. Unfortunately, students from high poverty areas appear to fewer benefits from GEAR UP.
