Annotation:The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services 2001 Program Report documented services provided to youth in care in the 2001 fiscal year. Examples include: The Youth-in-College Program which provided supplemental services, monthly maintenance stipends, and medical cards to DCFS youth enrolled in college full time, and the DCFS Scholarship program which provides 48 college scholarships annually to youth who are currently under DCFS guardianship, as well as to former DCFS youths who have been adopted or are in subsidized guardianship arrangements.
