Annotation:The Radio and Technology News Directors Association (RTNDA) provides a number of fellowships and scholarships for future journalists in television and radio. Every year seventeen scholarship and fellowships are awarded to up and coming journalists in television and radio, including the Barney and Vada National Security Reporting Fellowship. Also, former heavyweight champion George Foreman established a $100,000 scholarship fund with RTNDF called the George Foreman Tribute to Lyndon B. Johnson Scholarship. It will go to broadcast journalism students at the University of Texas in Austin.
