Annotation:This report is a component of the Closing the College Participation Gap study, an ECS initiative. The initiative’s aim is to assist policymakers and other state leaders in their efforts to expand college access and increase participation, particularly among underserved and disadvantaged populations. A related objective is to examine the role of community colleges in helping to respond to states’ postsecondary education and training needs.
