Short Description:This report gives special attention to graduation rates in five southern states, emphasizing graduation rates of minorities in these states.
Annotation:Human, social, and economic costs of low graduation rates in this region are examined, in light of the lack of state or federal policy initiatives seriously implemented in this area to reduce dropout rates.
