Short Description:Examines the impact of finances on college persistence, based on several theoretical frameworks.
Annotation:This study examines the impact of finances on college persistence, based on several theoretical frameworks. Results suggest that in addition to playing an important role in equalizing opportunity between students from high and low socioeconomic backgrounds, financial aid, and related attitudes, facilitate the integration of students into the academic and social components of the college, and influence student persistence to graduation.
